The Brief
The Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto wanted a donor recognition environment that would do justice to the people whose generosity shapes the future of medicine, a fixture that would feel permanent and significant within one of Canada’s most distinguished academic settings.
The Work
Envision designed and built a large-format hybrid donor wall in metal, wood, and glass, materials chosen to feel timeless within the faculty’s existing environment. The wall balances the permanence of physical recognition with the flexibility of digital storytelling, with both screens drawing on a content system that U of T staff can update directly. The result is a fixture that speaks clearly about the value the faculty places on its donors, not just to the donors themselves, but to every student, researcher, and visitor who passes through the space.
The Relationship
A long-standing relationship with the University of Toronto, extending across multiple faculties and installations over many years.

The donor wall is fabulous. Our week-long donor extravaganza was a tremendous hit and our overseas visitors took special interest in the wall — and looking for their names. The new material looks lovely and the update was done very well. You and your team take such great care of us that I have no problem recommending you to my colleagues at other faculties and in the hospitals.
